Mini-Z event hire from Marbl Racing brings a real radio-controlled race meeting to your venue: a fleet of 10 electric, ready-to-run 1/28 scale Mini-Z race cars, a portable track and live lap timing, with our team running every heat. Your guests race each other for the quickest lap and a place on the podium, and nobody needs any experience.

How it works
Enquire, we set up, your guests race.
Tell us about your event
The date or month, the venue or town, roughly how many guests and what the day is for. We reply with a quote.
We set up at your venue
We arrive ahead of your guests, build the track, set up the timing screen and get the cars ready to race.
Practice, heats and a final
Everyone gets practice laps, then timed heats of around five cars at a time, so a bigger group all gets a go. The quickest go through to the final.
Why Mini-Z
Not a simulator. Not a slot car track.
Real driving, on a real track
A racing simulator puts one or two people in a seat while everyone else watches a screen, and slot cars stay in a groove. Mini-Z cars are steered, braked and raced wheel to wheel around an open track, so every driver is genuinely in control.
A proper race format
Practice, timed heats and a final, with every lap on the leaderboard: the same shape as a real club race meeting. It is run by people who race at club meetings themselves, so it feels like the real thing.

No two events are the same, so we price each one. The quote covers our setup and the running of the event for its whole duration, and travel, including overnight stays where needed.

How much does Mini-Z hire cost?
Every event is quoted individually. The quote covers our setup and the running of the event for its whole duration, plus travel, including overnight stays where needed. Tell us the date, the place and roughly how many guests, and we will come back with a price.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?
Yes. We travel UK-wide from our base in Northamptonshire. Travel is charged as part of the quote, including overnight stays if the event needs them.
What does the venue need?
A standard layout needs around 4m x 3m of floor, plus room around it for drivers; larger layouts are available for bigger spaces. We also need an indoor or covered space with a flat floor, a table for the timing screen, and mains power nearby. When we quote, we will confirm exactly what your venue needs.
How many guests can race?
We bring a fleet of 10 cars. Bigger groups race in heats and take turns, so everyone gets a go. Tell us your guest numbers and we will plan the format to suit.
How long does it take?
We arrive ahead of your guests to set up, then run the racing for as long as your event needs: a relaxed session alongside a drinks reception, or practice, heats and a final across an afternoon. We plan the timings with you.
Does anyone need racing experience?
No. We show every driver the controls and give them practice laps before the timed racing starts. Anyone who has raced before will still find the cars quick.
